The Minister of Industry and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, visits the SAMPOL´s stand at FITUR 2019 showing interest in the technologies implemented by the international Mallorcan company in the hotel sector.
SAMPOL closes its participation in the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) 2019 with a positive balance, in his opinion, having held several meetings during three days of work with the main national and international hoteliers, also thanking the visit of the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, to the stand of SAMPOL where he showed interest in the technologies implemented by the Mallorcan company in this sector.
In this edition the representatives of SAMPOL, headed by its CEO, Carmen Sampol, have shown the new technological advances and services offered to hotels in 17 countries and 4 continents.
According to its commercial director, Carlos Sáez, the hotel industry is putting into practice technological innovations, something essential to meet the demands of increasingly technological guests. In this section, For the last 4 years, SAMPOL has been leading the implementation of GPON projects, Optical Fiber up to the hotel room, being leaders in this market with more than 25,000 GPON rooms executed, migrating at national and international level active copper networks through passive fiber optic networks up to the hotel room itself.
